  24. Quick Start Instructions:
  25.  
  26.   Windows 3.1/NT:
  27.     Go to "File" menu under program manager and choose Run.  At the
  28.     Command Line box, type: "D:\setup", assuming 'D' is your cdrom drive.
  29.     This will install a group folder with icons for this cdrom.
  30.  
  31.   MSDOS Quick Start:
  32.     Change to your CDROM drive and type "view".
  33.     Example:
  34.           C:\> D:
  35.           D:\> view
  36.  
  37.   Windows 95:
  38.     Insert the cdrom into the cdrom drive.  This will automatically
  39.     start a CDROM browser program called WinView.
  40.     Alternatively, you can also install the program group and icon
  41.     by selecting the "Start" menu and choosing "Run".  At the Run
  42.     box, type: "D:\setup", assuming 'D' is your cdrom drive.

  44. Using the 00_INDEX.HTM:

  46. We have included 00_index.htm files so the user may use a Web browser
  47. to view our disc.

  49. In order to view this disc using these 00_index.htm files, point your
  50. Web browser to the root level 00_index.htm file.

  52. For example, in Netscape:

  54.   1. Click on "File"
  55.   2. Click on "Open File"
  56.   3. Choose your CDROM drive
  57.   4. Select the 00_index.htm file
  58.  
  59. In Internet Explorer:

  61.   1. Click on "File"
  62.   2. Click on "Open"
  63.   3. Click on "Browse"
  64.   4. Choose your CDROM drive
  65.   5. Select the 00_index.htm file

  67. The 00_index.htm files have been tested under Netscape 3.0 (Windows,
  68. Macintosh, and FreeBSD), and Internet Explorer 3.0 (Windows).

  72. WinView and View

  74. To make browsing the disc easier, we have included the program WinView for
  75. Windows, and the program VIEW for MSDOS on the CDROM.  These programs allow
  76. you to page through index files, browse through directories on the CD, view
  77. documentation and uncompress/install the program(s) you want onto your hard
  78. disk.

  82. Shareware

  84. This disk contains many shareware programs and images. Shareware can be
  85. considered to be a sort of try before you buy system where you are expected
  86. to pay the program author a registration fee if you find the program or image
